REPORT ON: Live Telecast of Chandrayaan 3

India proudly launched Chandrayaan 3- the third moon mission on July 14, 2023. On this occasion, NSS Unit of MBIT and MBIT Astronomy Club Jointly organized the live telecast of Launch of Chandrayaan 3 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm for first year students during their bridge course. The programme was started with the official announcement of initiation of MBIT Astronomy Club by Dr Darshana Prajapati – Head ASH, Dr Shital Gondaliya – Head CE, and Dr Jagruti Prajajpati – Head IT. MBIT Astronomy Club is an initiative to make students aware of the wonderful area of astronomy and astrophysics. Dr Darshana Prajapati gave the idea about the importance of co-curricular activities at MBIT. After that the Live telecast of the Launch of Chandrayaan 3 from Sri Harikota, Andhrapradesh started. At 2:35 pm , when the rocket launched, all the students and faculties saluted and gave a standing ovation to our genius Scientist of ISRO. “Bharatmata ki Jay “reverberated in MBIT. After the live telecast, the volunteers of MBIT Astronomy Club briefed the students about the glorious details of Chandrayaan 1,2 and 3. The programme was successfully organized by Prof Khushbu Patel and Dr Foram Joshi from ASH department under the able guidance of Principal Dr Sudhir Vegad and the active support from faculties of MBIT. More then 100 students participated in this activity.
